Services

Speech & language services are extended in the Tarzana, California or Calabasas, California Offices in individual or group settings according to need. Documentation necessary to submit for insurance or other types of reimbursement are given on the last day of the month.  Charges for services are based upon time and type of intervention. Therapeutic duration varies and re-evaluation determines plan alteration. Therapy is conducted in English for all ages as well as Spanish or Hebrew for early childhood intervention.

Diagnostic Evaluation
Evaluation is conducted with no discrimation to gender or age using standardized and/or informal test instruments to determine strengths and needs. Infant and early childhood evaluations are extended, with no discrimination to age or cultural background. The following areas of communication are evaluated:

Treatment Plan Development
Following evaluation a plan is established to develop goals for target areas of need. Format of treatment plans will vary based upon type and place of service recommendation (office, schools, Regional Center, etc.), as well as if the service will be conducted by examiner or other professional.

Therapeutic Intervention
Services are extended in 30 minute to 1.5 hours increments with weekly frequency varying according to need and client determination. Plan of treatment is initiated and changed as indicated when skills improve. Family, team and Physician are involved in the plan development and therapeutic process as directed by client and as necessary for therapeutic growth.

Consultation
Consultation to schools, programs and organizations, based upon request and availability. Short-term stays, from out of state or country, are accommodated for evaluation, intensive treatment, and, case management specifically in relation to Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Presentations & Workshops
Presentations or workshops to focus groups, agencies, schools, etc., are made based upon request and availability. Workshops for parents, teachers and behaviorists are available.
